Crocus puringii

Since the moments after revision C. speciosus from different areas (Crimea, Transcaucasus, Turkey, Iran etc) made by Janis Ruksans who give new names for some C. speciosus I try to fix the most notable signs in the look of this very like plants. So new taxon C. puringii grown in Crimea is earliest in flowering among C. speciosus complex.

All plants C. puringii have flowers with unicolor back of outer petals bordered with light margin. Dark colored specimens have this sign very good marked. I offer the clone with dark colored flowers.
